Ukraine launched a VR (Virtual reality) project about Crimea, which Ukrainians love, miss, and are waiting to return.
In cooperation with Ukrainian Institute and media-project “Ukrainer,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has launched a project “We are Crimea.”
The online project shows Crimea through the eyes of prominent Ukrainians who cannot be there. Akhtem Seitablaiev, Mustafa Jemilev, Oleg Sentsov and Jamala told what they remember about Crimea and how this loss affected them.
Four stories of famous people who were born, raised or lived in Crimea published in the project “We are Crimea”. For whom Crimea has been and remains forever their home.
The viewers are offered an emotional VR-video, in which they will see both the heroes of the story shot in the studio and the 360-format places from the Crimean Peninsula, such as Bakhchysarai, the cave city of Bakla, Khan’s Palace and others.
The heroes in VR glasses look at sights in Crimea that are important for them, share their memories and memorable stories about their native peninsula.
