Ukraine Wants to Develop Cooperation with Turkey in Defence Industry

The Delegation of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine led by Deputy Defence Minister Oleksandr Myroniuk will discuss the development of cooperation related to Bayraktar combat drones during a working visit to Turkey.

“The Ukrainian delegation will discuss with Deputy Minister of National Defence of Turkey Muhsin Dere and Vice President of the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries of Turkey Serdar Demirel the supply of radio communication equipment manufactured by company Aselsan, possible participation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey in the command and staff exercise 'Joint Efforts 2020', and joint trials of Turkish-made communications,” the press service of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine informs.

The delegation also plans to visit the Flight Planning and Coordination Center of the Army Aviation Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey to exchange experience of using combat unmanned aerial vehicles.
