In Ukraine from February 9, 2020, the laws for crossing the administrative border of the occupied Crimea are changing for children under the age of 16.

According to the new regulation, children under the age of 16 can enter the occupied Crimea with a new biometric ID or passport, accompanied by a single parent, without the consent of the other parent.

Besides, children between the ages 14 and 16, who are studying in Ukraine and have relevant data in a single database of the Ministry of Education will be able to pass the checkpoints at the Crimea administrative border alone.
