Lutfie Zudiyeva conducts human rights activities and represents the interests of the Crimean Tatars detained by the Russian authorities in Crimea in the “courts”. In the conditions of the occupied Crimea, she is actively engaged in citizen journalism, highlighting detentions and “judicial” trials of the Crimean Tatars.

The same day, May 30, in Bakhchysarai, employees of the Center for Countering Extremism detained another Crimean Tatar activist, coordinator of the Crimean Childhood initiative, Mumine Saliyeva.

Public association Crimean Solidarity reported about the detention, recalling that the activist is also the wife of the defendant in the “Hizb ut-Tahrir case” from the “second Bahchysarai group” – Seyran Saliyev.

Lawyers Mammet Mambetov and Emil Kurdebinov confirmed the detention of Mumine Saliyeva in Bakhchysarai.

Lawyer Kurbedinov was not allowed to see the detainee, who is accused under art. 20.3 of the Administrative Code of Russia – “propaganda and public demonstration of the symbols of extremist organizations.”

After numerous arrests of the Crimean Tatars, their children in the occupied peninsula were left without fathers, so Mumine Saliyeva organized the Crimean Childhood project, which aims to support these children. She is also an active member of the public association Crimean Solidarity, actively attends the trials, supports families of political prisoners.
