The US Senate approved Mark Esper as Head of the Department of Defense. Esper received 90 votes out of 100, eight senators opposed his appointment. The new Secretary of Defense is a veteran of the US Army. He graduated from the renowned military academy of West Point and served in Iraq.
The Head of the party “Servant of the People” Dmitry Razumkov believes that the issue of the status of the Russian language in ORDLO will need discussion. According to him, this position does not contradict the Minsk agreements. At the same time, the politician noted that the only state language in the country is Ukrainian.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expressed a strong protest to Russia in connection with the decision in the case of Ukrainian political prisoner Pavlo Hryb. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Russian court had defiantly rejected the arguments of the lawyers about the absence of evidence in Hryb’s alleged actions and supported the fabricated charges.
