US President Donald Trump canceled a previously planned visit to Denmark due to the fact that Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen did not support Trump’s idea to buy the island of Greenland. Copenhagen said the idea of ​​selling Greenland to the United States is absurd.

German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said that in order to resolve the conflict in the Donbass, a direct dialogue is needed. He made a corresponding statement in Berlin before leaving for Moscow. At the same time, Maas noted that Germany has “fundamentally different positions with Russia on many issues.”
