State Duma of Russia intends to reward the border guards, who captured the Ukrainian vessels and sailors in the Kerch Strait
The Russian State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption intends to consider awarding the Russian border guards who captured the Ukrainian sailors in the Kerch Strait on November 25.
According to State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, all political factions in the Russian parliament agree with this proposal.
Our border guards behaved flawlessly. They courageously, effectively tackled the tasks of protecting our borders.
Volodin said that tomorrow, December 5, this issue will be submitted at a meeting of the Council of the State Duma.
At the same time, he relayed the stamp of Russian propaganda, calling the capture of the Ukrainian sailors by the FSB of Russia the result of the provocation of the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko.
He seeks to preserve personal power and eliminate his political opponents, including by imposing martial law in those ten areas where he has the least support.
Meanwhile, a campaign was launched in Ukraine in support of Ukrainian sailors — to write a letter to the Moscow detention centers (Seaman’s Silence and Lefortovo).
Earlier, the Russian Ombudsperson Tatyana Moskalkova said that the wounded Ukrainian sailors are already getting up and moving independently.
The FSB opened a criminal case against 24 detained Ukrainians for “illegal crossing of the state border”. The Crimean “court” arrested all the sailors for two months
