Security forces in the annexed Crimea searched thehouse of Ruslan Murtazaev in the Kamenka microdistrict of the Simferopol region,the public association Crimean Solidarity reported on Facebook. “This became known after the call of his wife. Shecontacted a lawyer and said that security forces came to their home, in theabsence of Ruslan himself, in order to conduct a search in the dwelling,” the message said. According to journalist Anton Naumlyuk, the security forces searched the house without waiting for the owner of the house and his lawyer. Murtazaev’s wife, was not shown any documents due to the fact that they were allegedly shown to their younger brother, Emir Murtazaev. The indicated reason for the search was operational information, according to which Murtazaev (it is not known which of the brothers) is associated with drug trafficking, Naumlyuk informed. Following a search, Emir Murtazaev was detained. Earlier today, on November 28, security forces camewith a search to the house of Galina Baloban, an activist of the UkrainianCultural Center (UCC). All the equipment was seized from the activist, and the womanherself was released. The security forces conducted a search without thepresence of a lawyer.
