David Arahamiya, Party Leader of ‘Servant of the People’ in Ukraine, said that they are ready to supply water to the occupied Crimea in case of Russian President Vladimir Putin withdraws Russian military forces from Donbas.

Arahamiya, participating as a guest on a program broadcasted on the Ukrainian TV channel Pryamy said:

The leader of the party accented that the terrorists must totally leave the Donbas region, and Ukraine must entirely control the relevant territories.

Chubarov: Providing water to Crimea means to surrender thousands of Crimean Tatar and Ukrainians to Russia

Refat Chubarov, President of the Crimean Tatar National Assembly (Majlis), who commented on the words of Arahamiya, stated that it is unacceptable to discuss the feasibilities to resolve the conflict in Donbas by rewarding Crimea.

“Will so-and-so bargain upon our lands? Does anyone in our state think that it will be possible to surrender 500 thousands of Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians living in Crimea? We should not let the state to sell us in commerce for water or any compound in Donbas.”
