President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that next week the European Parliament will hold debates on the Crimea.
Head of state informed about the upcoming discussion on his Facebook page. According to him, the whole world will hear again that the Crimea is Ukraine!
An important result of yesterday’s Ukraine-EU mini-summit in Brussels is that next week the European Parliament will hold plenary debates in connection with the fifth anniversary of the Russian occupation of Crimea.
According to the President’s website, an informal Ukraine-European Union mini-summit was held in Brussels on March 20 with the participation of Poroshenko, President of the European Council Donald Tusk, Heads of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker and the European Parliament Antonio Tajani, as well as key members of the European Commission.
The main purpose of the event was to harmonize approaches to the development of relations between Ukraine and the EU for the near future and to coordinate countering existing challenges.
March 20, Poroshenko put into effect the decision of the NSDC to impose sanctions against 294 legal entities and 848 individuals who were engaged in the construction of a transport crossing through the Kerch Strait, involved in an armed attack and seizure of Ukrainian military boats, as well as the illegal detention of Ukrainian sailors
