The two main challenges that Verkhovna Rada of the IX convocation will face are Russia and corruption.

This opinion was expressed by the Head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Refat Chubarov in the commentary to QHA media after he voted at a polling station in the Obolon district of Kyiv.

One of the challenges is corruption, political and economic ones. I would put the political in the first place. Although they are related: political corruption gives rise to economic, economic corruption supports for political one, – Chubarov said.

He also stressed that Russia in recent months has increasingly come to terms with Western countries, and this is a threat to the very existence of the Ukrainian state.

On July 21, early parliamentary elections were held in Ukraine. By the morning, the police had already recorded 111 violations of electoral legislation.
