Number of crossings of administrative border with Crimea during Christmas holidays decreased by one third - State Border Service of Ukraine
During the Christmas holidays (from 5 to 7 January) fewer people crossed the administrative border with the Crimea than during the same period of 2018, the State Border Service of Ukraine reported.
According to the border guards, 29% of citizens followed in both directions across the administrative border less than during the Christmas holidays of last year.
At the same time, the number of people going to the peninsula decreased by 34%.
From December 30, 2018 to January 1, 2019, 20 thousand citizens crossed the administrative border of Ukraine and Crimea, which is 25% less compared to the previous similar period.
