Militants observing ceasefire in the JFO zone, and Russian snipers arrived in Donetsk
In the zone of the Joined Forces Operation in Donbas, during the past day of July 22, the Russian occupying forces observed ceasefire.
According to the JFO headquarters press-center, no losses from the Ukrainian side were recorded.
From the beginning of the current day, the enemy troops also did not violate the indefinite ban on the use of any weapon.
The report notes that the Joined Forces reliably control the enemy on the contact line while observing the conditions of the cease-fire.
Meanwhile, according to the available information of the JFO staff, a group of Russian snipers arrived in the occupied Donetsk, whose task is to shoot and destroy video cameras of the OSCE SMM monitoring.
These cameras are installed in accordance with the Minsk agreements on certain sections of the line of demarcation.
With their help, the international independent observers repeatedly recorded the facts of violation of the cease-fire regime by the militants, the shelling of civilians and civilian infrastructure in the territory controlled by the government of Ukraine.
On July 21, as a result of an explosion on an unknown explosive device installed by a sabotage and reconnaissance group of Russian occupiers, two JFO servicemen were killed and two were injured.
“Then the final formula will be modelled [for exchange of prisoners – Ed.]. However, as long as the verification of the majority of the exchange participants has not been carried out, it can be assumed that will be possible to exchange a little more than 200 people in total,” the message says.
