Incident occurred again after the Poroshenko’s interrogation: unknown people threw eggs at the ex-president, but got at the journalists
Today, on August 12, in Kyiv, unknown people tried to throw eggs at the fifth Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko.
This incident happened near the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) of Ukraine, when Poroshenko was coming out of the building after the interrogation.
The attempt to throw eggs at him ended up by hitting the journalists, whereafter the police intervened in and the attackers fled.
Poroshenko himself managed to get into the car in time and was not injured.
Also today, after the interrogation, Poroshenko said that he does not trust the SBI, therefore he is ready to take a polygraph on the channel “Priamiy”.
I do not trust the State Bureau of Investigation, I do not trust its leadership, I do not believe in the objectivity and impartiality of the investigation. Therefore I am ready to take a lie detector on live and answer all questions they want to hear,” he said.
Poroshenko noted that he proposed this idea to the SBI, but the investigators did not have a “great enthusiasm” about this.
Previously, on July 25, after the first interrogation of Petro Poroshenko, an incident and a fight occurred near the building of the State Bureau of Investigation: a man jumped onto the hood of the ex-president’s car. The guards dragged the man off the car resulting in a fight. the “dialogue police” intervened.
“Then the final formula will be modelled [for exchange of prisoners – Ed.]. However, as long as the verification of the majority of the exchange participants has not been carried out, it can be assumed that will be possible to exchange a little more than 200 people in total,” the message says.
