Four militants destroyed in JFO zone in Donbas. One Ukrainian military was injured
Four militants were killed and two were injured as a result of the violation of the cease-fire by the Russian occupation forces in the area of the Joined Force Operation, the press center of JFO headquarters reported.
According to the military, over the past day, January 7, 2019, five cases of the cease-fire violations by militants were recorded, as a result of which one Ukrainian military was injured.
Reportedly, no cases of use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements have been recorded.
The strongholds of the Ukrainian troops were fired from grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms near the Stanytsia Luhanska, Vilne village, in the area of Luhanske, Berezove and near the settlement of Pavlopil.
The message of the JFO press-center says that in response to the provocations of the illegal armed formations, units of the Joined Forces used duty weapons.
Despite the deterioration of weather conditions, the Ukrainian military continue to reliably monitor the actions of the enemy on the contact line, while respecting the conditions of a complete cease-fire.
Earlier, on January 1, 2019, a Ukrainian soldier, Nikolay Golubev, died in the zone of the Joined Forces Operation in Donbas. The 20-year-old fighter of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade was from the Mykolaiv region.
