Exchange on the principle of "all for all" and return of Donbass. Zelensky announced what he will talk about at meeting in Normandy format
During the Normandy format summit, the return of the occupied Donbass, as well as the “all for all” exchange will be discussed.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky made a corresponding statement at a joint briefing with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš, who is visiting Kyiv.
The head of the Ukrainian state noted that he expects real results from a meeting of the Normandy Four leaders in Paris.
“We must make appropriate arrangements on the return of our territories. I want to talk about the return of Donbass on some more or less clear terms,” the president said.
He went on saying, that in addition to the issue of returning territories, the leaders of the countries will discuss the exchange of prisoners according to the principle “all for all”, as well as issues of local elections in the Donbass.
Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadim Pristayko said that a short communiqué of the summit in Normandy format had already been drafted.
The minister expressed hope for a breakthrough from the meeting in Paris, but called for “controlling expectations and not setting too ambitious tasks.”
QHA media reported, that a summit of Normandy format leaders will be held on December 9 in Paris. According to the French media, the goal of the summit is to open a new sequence of implementation of the Minsk agreements.
