Destroyer of the main strike force of the Russian Navy entered the Black Sea
On January 9, 2019, a warship of the Russian Northern Fleet entered the Black Sea, the expert of the Maidan of Foreign Affairs charity fund Andrei Klimenko informed.
According to him, the vessel is namely the Severomorsk missile anti-submarine destroyer (619), the Fregat project, according to the NATO classification, Udaloy.
For the first time during the occupation of the Crimea, not just a landing ship of Russian fleet other than the Black Sea one entered the waters of the Black Sea (landing ships of other fleets are constantly used for transportation from the Crimea and Novorossiysk to Syria), but a ship belonging to the main strike force of the Russian Navy in the far sea zone.
Earlier, on December 4, 2018, the crew of the Russian patrol ship “Dmitry Rogachev” arrived in the annexed Sevastopol to undergo state navigation test. The ship was in Sevastopol for 5 days.
And on December 3, the coastal missile systems “Bastion” and “Ball” of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia worked out strikes at sea targets in the annexed Crimea.
