Army corps of the Black Sea Fleet began military exercise in the occupied Crimea
On January 16, exercises began in the Crimea to work out combat firing of standard weapons for units of the army corps of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia, the department of information support of the Black Sea Fleet reported.
According to the message, the servicemen work out a set of practical exercises with standard small arms: AK-74 assault rifles and RPG-7B rocket-propelled grenade launcher.
In the course of the exercise, the personnel fulfill the tasks for the destruction of various types of targets. In addition, test firing of the BTR-82AM armored personnel carriers on-site and in motion is conducted.
According to the information support department, the shooting takes place during the day and at night. In total, more than a thousand military personnel and 30 units of military equipment are involved in the drills.
During 2018 the Russian ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation conducted about 200 different exercises, during which over 600 combat tasks were performed.
