Turkish parliament head Sentop to pay visit to Ukraine

Speaker of Turkey's Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Mustafa Sentop will pay an official visit to Ukraine on Friday and Saturday, according to an official announcement.

Speaker of the Ukrainian parliament (Verkhovna Rada) Dmitry Razumov will welcome his counterpart in the capital Kyiv, said a statement by Sentop’s office.

After a bilateral meeting, the two officials will hold a joint press conference.

President of the Turkish parliament will also be received by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

Within the framework of his contacts in Ukraine, Sentop will also meet with the Chairman of the Ukraine-Turkey Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group in the Verkhovna Rada, MP Rustem Umerov.

On Saturday, Sentop will hold meetings separately with the representatives of Turkic communities including Crimean Tatars, Meskhetian Turks and Gagauz Turks.
