Today, June 14, Russian security forces searched the home of Crimean Tatar Emirkhan Murtazaev in the village of Krasnovka, Simferopol District of occupied Crimea.
According to the public association Crimean Solidarity, the detained was soon taken away.
Human rights activists report that during the search one of the security forces officers left his details – the employee of the “Ministry of Internal Affairs” of the Crimea Anton Petrovich Shmanin.
At the time of the search the elderly parents of Emirkhan – the father with disabilities Bekir Murtazaev and the mother Emine Murtazaeva – were in the house.
On June 10, houses of the Crimean Tatars were searched in Alushta and its environs, as well as in the Bilohirsk and Simferopol districts, after which 8 people were detained. They were accused of “participating in the activities of a terrorist organization” (part 1, part 2 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The next day, all the detainees were arrested until August 5.
