Russia will be excluded from negotiation group on de-occupation of Crimea — Foreign Minister of Ukraine
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba claimed that the international negotiation group for de-occupation of Crimea will not include Russia’s representatives.
“We’ve got to be honest, and say that Russia will not join this format. We’ve got to create a platform that is supposed to achieve three goals. The first is to keep Crimea on the international agenda. The second will let us coordinate the efforts of the maximum number of participants, provide the policy of non-recognition of the annexation of Crimea and the sanctions policy against Russia due to that. The third goal is to protect human rights in the occupied peninsula”, Kuleba said.
He also said it was a mistake for Ukraine not to create such a negotiation playground immediately after the occupation of Crimea. This is why, he said, it was difficult to work on the creation of such a playground.
