Today, on August 7, the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea brought a charge to the former head of the Henichesk District State Administration in Kherson Region Seyitumer Nimetullayev under Art. 260, part 3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Creation of unlawful paramilitary or armed formations). The investigation established the involvement of Nimetullayev in the financing of armed formation the Self-Defense of Crimea on February-March 2014, that is unforeseen by the laws of Ukraine. It was also find that this citizen provided accommodation in hotels and cafes located in Chonhar village of the Henichesk District in Kherson region to the so-called self-defense people and Russian Security Service staff for organizing their headquarters and living, the department noted. https://www.facebook.com/prok.arkrym/posts/1088338678026256?__tn__=-R Before the Dignity Revolution, Seyitumer Nimetullayev was a head of the Henichesk District State Administration and led the district branch of the Party of Regions. In the spring of 2014, he supported the Russian annexation of Crimea and fled to the occupied peninsula. The same year the Ukrainian authorities put him on a wanted list. In Crimea, he headed the pro-Russian Crimean Tatar organization “Kyrym Birligi” (Crimean Unity) and still continues to actively support the Kremlin’s aggressive policy.
