Occupied Dzhankoy standing still. Transport does not run and the only city’s carrier is economically unviable
Since December 1, public transport buses of the only carrier in Dzhankoy ceased operation.
According to Kryminform, the “mayor” of the occupied city Eduard Selivanov said that the company is not satisfied with the tariff policy and payment for beneficiaries.
He stated, it is still unknown when the transport in the city will operate in the normal mode.
They say, the carrier company cannot survive economically. This is the only carrier in Dzhankoy, and now no city bus line operates.
At the stops of public transport in Dzhankoy, one can see announcements from the “city administration” on the termination of route transportation throughout the city.
The company engaged in the transportation of passengers in the city is Dun, which has been working there since 1994. As of the end of last year, the company employed 68 people.
Earlier, QHA media reported, that from April 1, 2019, the travel fare in city and suburban buses has increased on the occupied peninsula, including to Dzhankoy.
The “authorities” of the Crimea said that increasing the fare would supposedly help improve the quality of passenger service.
