Mejlis Discussed the Administrative Reform to Make After the Crimea's Occupation Ended
Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People discussed the issues of administrative reform in Crimea including decentralization after the end of the occupation.
The meeting held in the office of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People in Kyiv on Saturday. Among the participants, there were Permanent Representative of Crimea Anton Koryneviych, Deputy Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea Tamila Tasheva and deputy advisor Elnur Ametov, together with the head of the Mejlis Refat Chubarov.
“United regional communities as the ground of local self-government will be created after Crimea freed from occupation. I hope that the joint work of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, Ukrainian lawmakers and the Office of Permanent Representation of Crimea will be presented in the Ukrainian Parliament soon,” said Chubarov.
