Crimean Tatar actor and director Seitablaev became a member of the European Film Academy
Ukrainian director of Crimean Tatar origin Akhtem Seitablaev became a member of the European Film Academy.

The Chairman of the State Committee for Foreign Affairs Filip Ilyenko congratulates Akhtem Seitablaev, a Ukrainian actor and director of Crimean Tatar origin, for acquiring the status of Academician of the European Film Academy, – the message says.
Akhtem Seitablaev became one of 42 Ukrainian cinematographers in the ranks of European film academics.
Seitablaev is known for his directorial works on the films “Haitarma”, “87 Children”, “Cyborgs”. Now the director is working on the creation of Zakhar Berkut and Nome movies based on the play by Oleg Sentsov. Akhtem starred in more than 25 films and TV shows. From the new ones – the lead in the film by Nariman Aliyev “Home”, which was included in the competition program of the 72nd Cannes International Film Festival and won the Grand Prix of the tenth Odessa International Film Festival.
