Crimean "court" extended arrest to four persons involved in the "Hizb-ut Tahrir case" until April 9
February 8, the “Supreme Court” of Crimea extended the arrest to four Crimean Muslims involved in the contrived “Hizb-ut Tahrir case” (second Bakhchysarai group).
According to the public organization Crimean Solidarity, Server Zekeryaev, Marlene Asanov, Memet Belyalov and Seyran Saliev will be kept in the Simferopol detention center until April 9, 2019.
Crimean human rights activists stressed that the “judicial” hearing was held at a closed session.
For this reason, the Russian security forces made all those who came to support the Crimean Tatar prisoners leave the yard on the territory of the “court”.
On February 7, 2019, the “Supreme Court” of Crimea also extended the term of detention of two other persons involved in the Hizb-ut Tahrir case – Timur Ibragimov and Ernes Ametov until April 9.
On the morning of October 11, 2017, searches were carried out in Bakhchysarai in the homes of Crimean Tatars Marlen Asanov, Seyran Saliev (for him it was the third search), Timur Ibragimov, Server Zekeryayev, Memet Belyalov and Ernes Ametov. They were all accused of participating in the organization Hizb ut-Tahrir, which is banned in Russia.
