AQMESCIT/ SIMFEROPIL (QHA) - A presentation of the book ‘Göñlümniñ İncileri’ (‘Pearls of My Soul’) by postgraduate student of the Department of Crimea Tatar and Turkish Literature at the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University (CEPU), Zaira Zeinetdin, has taken place in CEPU on January 16.
The event was attended by well-known Crimean Tatar writers Ablâziz Veli and Riza Fazıl, lecturers at the CEPU and many others.
According to Zaira Zeinetdin, the book consists of five parts: ‘About Motherland’, ‘Lyric poems’, ‘Songs’, ‘Congratulations’ and ‘Other Themes.’
“Everyone has some feelings, emotions, joy. I think that each of us once in life wrote two or three lines of lyric. My feelings, thoughts and experiences are reflected in the book ‘Göñlümniñ İncileri’,” the author said.
She noted that work on a book, published in an edition of 500 copies, took over a year. The collection includes 60 poems by the poet.
The presentation was accompanied by performances of the Honoured Artist of Ukraine Seitabla Memet and a young dancer Lenara Gani.
At the conclusion of the event, Zaira Zeinetdin thanked all who had assisted in the publication of the book.
“I want to thank all those who helped publishing this book. This is, first of all, Ablâziz Veli – editor-in-chief, the sponsor – the Head of the Association of Culture and Mutual Aid for the Crimean Tatars in Istanbul Celâl İçten, and art editor Dilâver Mamut. Many people worked on the book, so its publication is our common achievement,” she stressed.
