Wrestler Lenur Temir – silver medalist of Ukraine

AQMESCIT/ SIMFEROPIL (QHA) - The Crimean Tatar athlete Lenur Temir became silver prizewinner in the Ukrainian Championship on Greco-Roman wrestling, which was held at the sports complex of the S. Georgievsky Crimean State Medical University, Aqmescit/ Simferopil, on January 13-15, the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Crimea has reported.
Participating in the competition were 208 athletes representing 21 teams from Crimea, the regions of Ukraine, Kyiv and Aqyar/ Sevastopil.
Thus, Master of Sports of Ukraine Lenur Temir from Suvdaq/ Sudak has won the second place in the weight category 60 kg.
The top ten wrestlers of Ukraine also included Osman Sali (Suvdaq), Kostiantyn Yermakov (Bağçasaray/ Bakhchisarai), Serhii Ponomariov (Krasnohvardiiske) and Edem Sali (Suvdaq).
Osman Sali hit a qualifying standard of Master of Sports of Ukraine.
The Crimean Minister of Education and Science, Youth and Sports, Vitalina Dzoz, congratulated the sportsmen on their achievements.
