  WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange loses Sweden extradition appeal  MOSCOW, 02.11.11 (QHA) – WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has lost his appeal against his extradition to Sweden, according to Ria Novosti.
Assange has the right to appeal the decision in the U.K. Supreme Court within two weeks. If the appeal is accepted, he could remain on bail until 2012. In case it is rejected, he will be extradited to Sweden within 10 days of the Supreme Court’s decision.
Assange’s lawyers will decided on whether to appeal the ruling. Meantime, his supporters gathered outside the court, holding “Free Assange” banners, the Press Association reported.
As reported, last December the founder of WikiLeaks was arrested in London on a warrant from Sweden, where he is wanted for questioning on sex assault charges. Assange has consistently denied the accusations.
