Universities of Kharkiv and Tajikistan to create joint energy department

KYIV (QHA) - A joint department is to be established by the Kharkiv Polytechnic University and the Technological University of Tajikistan, said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan, Shukhrat Sultonov, according to Ukrinform.
“We are mulling over the creation of a joint department, most likely, energy department, on the basis of the Technological University of Tajikistan,” the ambassador said.
Sultonov also recalled that Tajikistan and Ukraine already have the practice of creating joint departments, in particular, a Tajik-Ukrainian department of the Ternopil Technological University.
“That is, our students first have distance education (1-2 years) through the Internet in Tajikistan, and then move to study in Ternopil (western Ukraine),” he added.
