  United opposition to form single list for 2012 elections KYIV (QHA) - The opposition parties announced on Monday plans to stop fighting against one another at the 2012 parliamentary elections in Ukraine and to form a single list of candidates in single mandate constituencies, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
According to the Agreement on joint action of the united Ukrainian opposition, which was read out at a rally in Sofiyska Square in Kyiv on January 22, the opposition forces are forming a single list of candidates who will be elected in single mandate constituencies under the “one constituency - one candidate” principle from the united opposition.
After our victory at the 2012 parliamentary elections we shall form a majority in Verkhovna Rada, opposition activists said.
Arseniy Yatseniuk, leader of the Front of Change Party, told reporters that the agreement has set out the core principles of the oppositional forces activities and laid down a clause about the formation of the coalition in the future parliament.
