Turkish tour operators to partake in Crimea Tourism Fair

AQMESCIT/ SIMFEROPIL (QHA) - Twenty-five major tour operators of Turkey will take part in the 21st International Tourism Fair ‘Crimea. Resorts. Tourism’ to take place in Yalta. QHA has learnt this from the Crimean Ministry of Resorts and Tourism.
Participating in the event will be the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, Ertuğrul Günay, who will deliver a report at the Forum ‘Prospects for tourism development in the Black Sea region.’ His report will deal with the consolidation of the Black Sea countries in order to promote a joint tourism product in the international market.
“I hope that the Fair which aims to promote tourism in the Black Sea region will give impetus to relations between our states,” Turkey’s Culture and Tourism Ministry said in a statement.
In his turn, the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea, Oleksandr Liiev, noted that Ertuğrul Günay’s participation in the forum was discussed during the visit of the Crimean delegation to Ankara, Turkey. “Then Ertuğrul Günay took an interest in the idea of combining efforts to promote the Black Sea regions as a single tourism space,” he told.
As QHA reported, the 21st International Tourism Fair ‘Crimea. Resorts. Tourism’ will be held in Yalta from February 29 to March 2. The main exhibitors will be Crimean resorts, Ukrainian and Crimean travel agencies, as well as the companies providing products and services for the resort and tourism complex.
The Forum ‘Prospects for tourism development in the Black Sea region’ will take place as part of the Fair. It is expected to be attended by representatives of Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Georgia, Russia and Ukraine.
