Russia proposes revising gas agreement with Ukraine

KYIV (QHA) - The chairman of Russia's State Duma, Sergei Naryshkin, says Russia has sent proposals on revision of the Ukrainian-Russian gas agreements to Ukraine, according to Ukrainian News Agency.
“Consultations and talks are quite active. The latest talks were held at the level of energy ministers in January. Well, as of today, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation has sent to the Ukrainian side a new draft of the relevant agreement, around which the consultations will be held,” he said.
Naryshkin added that cooperation in the gas industry was one of the topics that were discussed during his visit to Ukraine.
