Olha Holubeva presents her book of poems (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

AQMESCIT/ SIMFEROPIL (QHA) - A presentation of a book of poems titled ‘I Vspykhnet Rozami Liubov'…’ (‘Love Will Bloom with Roses’) by Olha Holubeva has taken place at the Ivan Franko Universal Research Library (Aqmescit/ Simferopil) on February 14.
“It is (poetry book – Ed.) devoted to love. It includes new lyric verses written for the three past years. The most of them are, of course, about love. The second chapter ‘Poems for the holidays’ is very elegant, festive. It consists of poems dedicated to festive dates – Valentine’s Day, March 8, the New Year holidays. And there is another chapter ‘Dedication to friends’,” the poetess said.
It should be noted that the third chapter includes poems dedicated to People’s Artist of the Soviet Union Yury Bogatikov, People’s Artist, Hero of Ukraine Vira Roik, Honoured Art Worker of Ukraine Bilâl Bilâl, a Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar jazz-singer Jamala, Honoured Artists of Crimea Arsen Bekir and Mayye Anafi and many others.
A particular poem is devoted to Server Kakura, the Honoured Art Worker of Ukraine and Tatarstan, artistic director of the State Crimean Tatar folk ensemble ‘Qırım’.
“I know Olha Holubeva as a poetess. We have long ago been in the artistic union, since 1990. We have done a lot for this time. What I like about Olha is that her creative energy never dies. She always writes…,” Mr. Kakura stressed.
The poetry book was published in an edition of thousand copies, of which 250 copies were donated to the Ivan Franko Universal Research Library.
Reference: Olha Holubeva is a member of the National Writer’s Union of Ukraine, winner of the Ukrainian Award ‘Zolota Fortuna’ (‘Golden Fortune’) and holder of the Honorary Resident of Crimea title.
