  NSDC secretary: Ukraine, EU to continue cooperation   KYIV (QHA) - Ukraine will continue active cooperation with the European Union in economic sector and in other areas, said the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), Andriy Kliuyev, according to Interfax-Ukraine.
The official expressed confidence that a new person will be appointed to the top government post to promote relations with the European Union, and thus this work will be continued.
Kliuyev emphasized that the interaction with the European Union is held at various levels on a daily basis. This also applies to the association agreement, on which experts of the European Commission are currently working, the National Security and Defense Council secretary said.
As it was earlier reported, on February 14 the Ukrainian president dismissed Andriy Kliuyev as first vice premier and economic development and trade minister and appointed him to the post of the NSDC secretary. While serving as first deputy premier, Kliuyev was unofficially in charge of the European integration of Ukraine.
