New chief of Crimean militia appointed

AQMESCIT/ SIMFEROPIL (QHA) - Mykhailo Slepaniov, who previously served as the chief of the Main Board of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv Oblast, has been appointed the Chief of the Main Board of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine in Crimea.
The relevant decision was taken at a plenary meeting of the fourth session of the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea of the sixth convocation.
His candidacy was voted for by 85 out of 88 deputies.
Slepaniov was nominated for the post of Crimean militia by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Vitalii Zakharchenko.
