
YALTA (QHA) - Representatives from 11 cities of the Black Sea region has officially confirmed their participation in the XXI International Tourism Fair ‘
Crimea. Resorts. Tourism’, according to the Crimean Ministry of Resorts and Tourism.
As reported, the event will be attended by the Mayor of Sukhumi (Abkhazia) Alias Labakhua, the Mayor of Samsun (Turkey) Yusuf Ziya Yılmaz, the Mayor of Varna (Bulgaria) Hristo Bozov, as well as the Chief of Culture and Tourism Department of the Odesa City Council Tetiana Markova, mayors of such Crimean cities and towns as Yalta, Aluşta/ Alushta, Saq/ Saky, Kezlev/ Yevpatoriya, Suvdaq/ Sudak, Kefe/ Feodosiya and Keriç/ Kerch.
In addition, representatives of Sochi, Novorossiysk (Russia), Constanta (Romania) and Burgas (Bulgaria) are considering their involvement in the Forum ‘Prospects for tourism development in the Black Sea region’ to take place within the framework of the Fair.
During the Forum, its participants will consider the possibility of establishing the Association of cruise port cities of the Black Sea. The relevant initiative has already been discussed with the authorities of Turkey, Georgia and Bulgaria, the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea, Mr. Oleksandr Liiev, said.
As QHA earlier reported, the 21st International Tourism Fair ‘Crimea. Resorts. Tourism’ will take place in Yalta from February 29 to March 2. The main exhibitors will be Crimean resorts, Ukrainian and Crimean travel agencies, as well as the companies providing products and services for the resort and tourism complex.
The Forum ‘Prospects for tourism development in the Black Sea region’ will be held within the framework of the Fair. It is expected to be attended by representatives of Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Georgia, Russia and Ukraine.
