Mayor of Alushta was arrested for bribetaking

Yesterday, on 13, June as result of joint operation of the Main Board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Crimea and the Office of the Public Prosecutor of Ukraine the mayor of Alushta Volodymyr Shcherbyna was arrested for repeated bribetakings.
The Minister f Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko had told about this detention during his press conference in Aqmescit (Simferopol).
In addition, two mayor assistants were arrested too.
Mr. Y. Lutsenko noted principal corruption schemes are just laid by local officials and these corruption schemes’ money turnover run up to milliards of the US dollars. He promised the detention of the mayor of Alushta is not last resonance arrest and both Crimea and Ukraine will get to know about sensational disclosure of official malfeasances in the nearest future.
