Influenza rate below epidemic threshold  KYIV (QHA) - The State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of Ukraine says incidence rates of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections do not exceed the epidemic threshold in any region of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
Infection rates vary in the range from 37.2% in Kyiv - up to 87.6% in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Overall, for the reporting period (February 10-16) 168,701 people got flu and cold, of whom 5,881 were hospitalized (3.5% - of the total number of patients), among the hospitalized - 71.9% are children. The incidence makes 36.8 cases per 10,000 people, which is 2.03% lower than the previous week.
Among children there were 95,729 cases of flu and cold registered (56.7% of all cases), the intense figure is 118.5 per 10,000 of Ukraine's child population, 2.5% lower than the previous week.
During the reporting week, the deaths among patients with influenza and SARS have not been reported, likewise during the previous one.
