The Chairman of the Majlis of Crimean Tatar people MP Mustafa Cemil had met with The State Minister of the Turkish Republic Faruk Çelik in Turkish city of Bursa on Februry 18. This unofficial meeting took place within framework of visit of the Crimean delegation to Bursa with aim to sign an agreement of city twinning between the Bağçasaray raion council and Bursa municipality.
The Majlis representative in Turkey Zafer Karatay, QHA Coordinator General, Adviser for Turkey’s Affairs of the Majlis Chairman, Ismet Yuksel and the Head of the Association of Culture and Mutual Aid of the Crimean Tatars in Bursa Adnan Süyen participated in this meeting too.
The Premier of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took part telephonically in a meeting. Mr. Erdoğan noted he would plan to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the newly-elected President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych on February 25.
The sides talked about cooperation beween Turkey and Ukraine and Turkish assistance to the Crimean Tatar people which come back from the exile and resettle in the Motherland.
İn course of a meeting, the Turkish party invited Mustafa Cemil to a presentation of new Department for Turkic world that would taken place on February 27 in Istanbul.
