  Fire at Donetsk coal mine, no one injured KYIV (QHA) - Fire at the Kalinin coal mine in Ukraine’s Donetsk region has caused no casualties, Interfax-Ukraine reported referring to the Ukrainian Coal Industry Workers Union.
Wooden carriages caught fire on Thursday evening in the Kalinin coal mine of the Donetsk Coal Energy Company at the 1,200-meter level.
The trade union said there were 73 people inside coal mine when the fire broke out, including 22 in the fire-stricken stretch.
The mine was temporarily shut down.
Rescue service continues efforts to fight the fire.
The cause of the accident will be known after examining the mine, a trade union spokesman said.
