NEW-YORK (QHA) -

The UN World Food Program (WFP) has announced its decision to stop providing food and other humanitarian assistance to the people of Ukraine affected by the conflict in the Donbas. The reason was the lack of financing, according to  the representative of the organization.

He informed that due to problems with the funds for the organization, implementation of its programs in Ukraine became increasingly difficult.

The program will continue its activities in eastern Ukraine in the limited mode at least until mid-2018 and will continue to monitor the situation in the country.

QHA reported that Ukraine is first in death rate from landmines, and it is ranked 3rd in landmines quantity.
