KYIV (QHA) -

Ukraine will regain control over the occupied part of Donbas, and then the Russia-annexed Crimea, according to the Head of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov.

“In the contemporary world, everyone must rely on their own strength. The weak are not considered, they are preached, humiliated and used! Only a strong Ukraine can make itself respected and its national interests considered! We must build such a Ukraine together ... Return of the occupied territories is the most important priority for our country. First, I believe, the entire Donbas will be returned, and then the Crimea," he said.

Earlier Turchinov said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) may need a few weeks to defeat the units of Russian troops in the occupied territories of Donbas. However, according to him, realistic assessment of the enemy is very important when planning a military operation. And so it is important to know how many divisions Russian President Vladimir Putin will be able to deploy against the APU.
