Over the day of May 2, militants of terrorist groups in the Donbas conducted 22 attacks using artillery and mortars, which resulted in three injured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU). The press center of the headquarters of the United Forces Operation (itroduced instead of ATO) reported on Facebook.

“During the fighting, three servicemen in the units of our troops were wounded. They were promptly delivered to the hospital. The state of health of the wounded is satisfactory," the report said.

The press center noted that four militants were injured as well.

According to the United Forces Operation headquarters, the Ukrainian military conducted an active defense of positions.

“The fighting continued mainly on directions of Avdiivska and Mariupol. Ukrainian units conducted an active defense. The enemy used artillery and mortars 22 times," the press center noted.

Earlier, during the day of May 1, militants of terrorist groups in the Donbas fired 52 times at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, resulting in injuries to two Ukrainian servicemen. In 13 of the attacks the militants opened fire from heavy weapons.
