ALCHEVSK (QHA) -

Militants are massively deserting from the ranks of occupying pro-Russian troops, which leads to mental disorders among the remaining ones due to increased workload.

The corresponding information appeared in the report of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

“On May 24, a serviceman of the 4th separate motorized rifle brigade (Alchevsk) 2 AK attacked a group of civilians using firearms, two people were wounded. The serviceman could not explain the reason for his actions and was sent for examination to a medical institution.”

In intelligence reported that in certain areas the manning of the motorized infantry's troops comprises less than 50%.

“In this regard, advanced positions tend to be strengthened by personnel from artillery, engineering and logistics units who have not received proper training, which leads to non-combat losses, desertion and an increase in the number of early termination of contracts for military service."

Earlier QHA reported that the so-called "law enforcement agencies" in the occupied Donetsk and Luhansk are trying to prevent the departure of young people of draft age to the territories controlled by Ukraine.
