Since the beginning of the year, the number of victims over Russian military aggression in the Donbas region among civilians was 14 people, according to the latest data released and reported by the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine. 

Most of the victims this year have accounted for the period between January 22 - February 4, and comprised 8 people.

"From January 22 to February 4, SMM confirmed the information on 8 civilian casualties (wounded), which increased the total number of victims from the beginning of 2018 to 14 people: 4 dead and 10 wounded."

The statistics of the dead included, in particular, one elderly man who died as a result of firing on a civilian bus by militants from small arms from the settlement Olenivka uncontrolled by the Ukrainian government, on January 21. Another person was injured. In addition, as a result of shelling by the militants of the occupied Dokuchayivsk on January 22, six civilians were injured.
