In the area of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) in the Donbas, militants of terrorist groups carried out 14 targeted attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as a result four Ukrainian servicemen were injured, the press center of the headquarters of ATO reported on Facebook.

“Over the past day, along the entire contact line, the enemy conducted 14 targeted attacks at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result of enemy fire, four Ukrainian defenders were injured, and all of them were promptly evacuated to mobile hospitals. Military doctors characterize the health state of each soldier as satisfactory, "  the message says. 

On the Luhansk direction the militants conducted targeted attacks from 120-mm mortars near Troitske and Lozove, from grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns and small arms near Mayorsk and Travneve. 

On the Donetsk direction, the terrorists shelled the positions of the the Armed Forces of Ukraine from 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers and machine guns in the suburb of Avdiivka. 

"In the same area, the occupiers repeatedly fired from 120-mm and 82-mm mortars and infantry armament at the defenders of the Butovka mine. In addition, the enemy used heavy mortars near Vodyane and Novotroitske in the Azov Sea area. During the shelling, the occupiers used grenade launchers of various types and small arms as well." 

Near the town of Krasnohorivka, the militants opened fire with the infantry arms fighting vehicle and the arsenal of small arms.

Reference: the Speaker of the Defense Ministry on ATO issues Dmytro Hutsulyak noted that militants claim the alleged preparation of the Armed Forces for "intense fighting" in March-June 2018. Hutsulyak further noted that the militants are spreading information that  foreign instructors are helping the ATO forces in preparation for combat operations.
