On February 28, in the area of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) in the Donbas, militants of terrorist groups conducted five targeted attacks at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU), violating the Minsk agreements, the press center of the headquarters of the ATO reported.

“Over the past day, Russian-occupation troops continued to fire at the Ukrainian defenders. In general, over the past day, the aggressor conducted 5 targeted attacks at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result of the enemy fire, no Ukrainian defender died or was wounded," the message says.

On the Luhansk direction, the militants fired at the positions of the AFU from mortars of various calibers, grenade launchers, anti-aircraft guns and machine guns near Luhansk, automatic grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms near the settlement of Novhorodske. Near the Krymske settlement terrorists used grenade launchers of various types and small arms.

On the Donetsk direction, the militants fired from 82 and 120 mm caliber mortars near the settlement of Pavlopil.

Reference: On February 28, one of the participants in the negotiation process from the terrorists of the Luhansk People`s Republic Vladyslav Deyneho said that participants in the contact group for the conflict resolution in the Donbas in Minsk managed to achieve an agreement on an "absolute truce". The regime of absolute observance of the ceasefire should begin from 0:00 pm Kyiv time on March 5.
