This morning the Russia unilaterally registered the next (66th) so-called "humanitarian convoy", the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported.
“Since the “humanitarian convoy” once again violated the regulations of international and domestic legislation and modalities coordinated with the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Ukrainian interdepartmental group carried out only visual observation without performing control functions”, the report said.
From 6:05 a.m. to 7:25 a.m. two columns of 55 cars passed to Ukraine through two Russian border checkpoints "Donetsk" and "Matveyev Kurgan". According to the information provided by the Russian officials, truckloads allegedly transported children food sets and medicines.
Ukrainian border guards noted that the cargo was transported in closed packages, so it was not possible to get reliable information about its content, nature and quantity.
In addition, according to the information of the border department, the discrepancy between the number of trucks and the quantity of the cargo declared in the previous RF note is the peculiarity of this “humanitarian convoy”. At the same time, vehicles were filled only by 60%.
Earlier under the guise of “humanitarian convoys” instead of the declared food and essentials, Russians brought weapons and ammunition.
