The Russian Federation is deploying a large number of military hardware to the border with Ukraine, according to the report of the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

A few days ago, a Ukrainian was detained for illegally crossing the border in the Luhansk region, the man told about the movement of Russian soldiers near the Ukrainian border. In particular, a large number of armored vehicles following through the settlement Kantemirovka Voronezh region 2-3 times a month towards the border with Ukraine.

“In conversations with Russian military men who escorted such echelons, the detained learned that they were allegedly going to tactical exercises in the Rostov region, not far from the Ukrainian border. But the man reported from his own observations that much less equipment was coming back,” reads the message.

 Earlier, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov stated that Russia began to deploy military forces to the border with Ukraine and intends to disguise them as UN peacekeepers. The NSDC Secretary said that these attempts would be in vain because of the likely adoption of the law on reintegration of Donbas.
